Parentline Plus is a national
charity that works for, and with, parents. We
know that parents want to do the best they can for their children
but that, sometimes, family life can be challenging and difficult.
All our services are free at point of delivery.

Courses and Workshops
Our parenting courses &
workshops are in two hour sessions, this gives a greater degree of
flexibility and courses can be tailor made for different client
groups.
Our training courses and services
are designed to benefit the whole family, including those in a
parenting role, children and young people. We work with parents
to:
- Provide opportunities to share expertise and
experiences with other people facing similar issues.
- Build their skills and confidence and therefore
their ability to help children develop self-esteem and
confidence.
- Develop their understanding of themselves and
their children
- Enable them to gain the skills and strategies to
deal with the issues they are facing in their families and discover
new ways of relating to their children.
- Support them in looking after themselves and
accessing resources so they can look after their children.
Our courses can be commissioned
by agencies and are structured in such a way that facilitators are
able to respond to issues that parents bring, balancing content and
process and different needs in the group.
All our courses are quality
assured, delivered by accredited facilitators and supported by
supervision.
