Teenage Drop in Centre, Hedge End (TADIC)
The Hedge End Teenage Drop-in
Centre operates at the Resource Centre, 28 Lower Northam Road,
Hedge End on Wednesday afternoons with a nurse-led satellite
drop-in operating from 'The Box' on Monday afternoons.
TADIC is managed by local health
professionals and it has earned a well deserved reputation for
providing free and confidential health support to local young
people on a wide variety of health issues including contraceptive
advice, prescriptions, general health enquiries, health promotion
and increased access to professional counselling
services.
The Teenage Drop-in Centre provides
an excellent local service to the young people of Hedge End, West
End and Botley. The aim of the Centre is to provide a
confidential and accessible service for all young people to allow
them to make informed choices regarding their own physical,
emotional and sexual health.
TADIC is open every Wednesday from
3.00pm-6.00pm.

Bursledon, Hamble and
Hound Drop-In Centre
The Tuesday afternoon Drop-in
Clinic at Hamble Youth Centre, on the Hamble Community School
Campus is a confidential service for young people. The clinic is
open from 3.00-4.30pm and no appointments are necessary. If you're
aged between 13 and 19 you can obtain information and advice on any
sexual health concerns from a qualified and experienced sexual
health nurse. You can also get the following:
- Condoms
- Pregnancy Testing
- Screening for Chlamydia
- Repeat prescriptions of the contraceptive
pill
- Emergency Contraception
(the 'morning-after' pill)
If you have other health concerns, you can see
the Youth Development Officer at the clinic. Again, no
appointment is necessary and this is also a confidential
service.

- Drug/Alcohol problems
- Quitting smoking

Eastleigh Health Centre
The Eastleigh Health
Centre runs a walk-in clinic for under 25's which provides
sexual health advice and contraception including emergency
contraception, free condoms, pregnancy testing and Chlamydia
screening.
This is a free,
confidential service and is run on Mondays between 4.00 -
6.00pm.

The Centre also operates
a genito-urinary medicine clinic which offers STI tests and
treatment. This runs on Mondays in term time between
1.00 - 3.00pm (by appointment only).
