This community
centre building was completed in 2002 and provides two
halls, a meeting room and an IT suite. It has a ramp for
disabled access, as well as a disabled toilet and baby-changing
facilities.
The local Community
Association working in partnership with Eastleigh Borough Council,
Eastleigh Community Services and Hampshire County Council runs the
Centre. Membership of the Pilands Wood Association is open to
anyone living within Pilands Wood, Warwick Gardens and Old Netley
and membership forms are available from the centre's office.
Pilands Wood Centre is the home
of Long Oak Pre-School who cater for children from 2 years, 9
months up to 5 years of age.
